IF YOUR COMPUTER IS RUNNING WINDOWS 3.1 OR 3.11

1. From the Program Manager File menu, choose Run.

The Run dialog box appears.

2. If your CD-ROM drive is designated as drive D, type

D:\START

in the Command Line box and click OK.

If your CD-ROM drive is another drive, type the appropriate drive

letter (such as

E:\) followed by START, and click OK.

The CD’s installation screen appears. Follow the instructions to install

the PaperPort 3.6 Software on your computer.

After the ﬁles are copied to the hard drive, restart Windows.

The following dialog box appears so the software can ﬁnd the port

where the scanner is connected.
