3. Now click the Finish button on the Connect Scanner dialog box.

A dialog box appears so you can calibrate the scanner.

To calibrate the scanner:

1. Insert the Calibration Paper that you received with the scanner into

the Page Feed until the scanner “grabs” the paper.

Insert the paper face down. The instructions on the back of the

paper show the correct way to insert the paper.

The scanner feeds the paper through automatically.

When calibration is finished, messages at the bottom of the screen

tell you that the scanner is being found and configured.

That completes the steps to connect your scanner to the computer.

2. Remove the CD from the CD-ROM drive and restart your

computer.
