CALIBRATING AND CLEANING YOUR SCANNER 41

4. Click the Advanced tab.

5. To recalibrate the scanner, insert a Calibration Paper into the

scanner, then click the Calibrate button.

To clean the scanner, insert the Cleaning Paper into the scanner,

then click the Clean button.

If additional cleaning is necessary, add a few drops of alcohol or

similar liquid solution to the Cleaning Paper and clean the scanner

again.

Remember to store the Calibration Paper and the Cleaning Paper in

their plastic bags for future use.

Do not discard the Cleaning Paper. It can be reused several times if

necessary.
